We are a technology agnostic consultancy and deliver impartial advice on using technology (existing or new) as an enabler to improve success. Technology is of course just one piece of the puzzle and if considered in isolation can have disastrous results. We are your guides on this journey. We engage with many organisations who struggle to achieve this due to commonplace barriers which prevent employees from doing a great job. These are, in the main, organisational, cultural, process, leadership and technology barriers, all of which we, at HRCubed, are experts in identifying and eliminating. As an example, during a recent engagement, we highlighted 70 quick, low cost improvements that, once actioned, removed 200 working days per year of administrative activity from both the HR team and the wider business and saved more than £200k in ongoing operational costs. Mandy has 19 years’ experience in delivering value to HR teams through HR & Payroll technology implementation and process improvement. Having worked with some of the UK’s biggest names in retail, public sector, higher education, central government and professional services, Mandy has a diverse and proven track record in driving practical and positive changes in HR operations, helping organisations to streamline their ways of working and drive improved service to their employees.
With detailed knowledge across the HR functions, Mandy has a rare ability to cut through the status quo and challenge organisations to rethink their ways of doing things, focussing them on getting the basics right whilst embarking on strategic people management initiatives.

John Hunter – Senior Associate Consultant
John is a Change Management phenomenon! He ensures that our customers have all they need to make successful organisational change, not just in the short term but sustainable change linked to direct outcomes and business objectives.
His career has centered on making the connections between people and the organisations they work in.
John’s extensive global experience leading change consulting practices and heading up HR teams, has allowed him to travel to many wonderful and exciting places across the world and has proven to him that there’s never a one-size-fits-all solution.
John’s engaging, insightful and measured approach ensures that our customers gain a trusted adviser to lead them through complex change.
When John’s not working here with the team or visiting clients, you’ll find him living in the west country with his wife, their 2 kids, 1 dog, 1 cat and a battered tractor mower called ‘chugaboom.’
Andrew Manley – Senior Advisor
Andrew was instrumental in the formation of HR Cubed in his capacity as a Non-Executive Director of its parent company and has been heavily involved in defining the unique customer offering that HR Cubed provides today.
Andrew spent nearly 30 years with Shell in a variety of senior commercial and leadership roles in the UK and abroad. For over a decade he led some of Shell’s most significant corporate transformation projects including the sale and franchise of its Latin American businesses and the merger of Shell’s US and Canadian businesses. He was latterly the Director of Shell’s Downstream implementation of SAP worldwide – the largest single SAP project ever undertaken.
Andrew went on to hold senior leadership positions in the Ministry of Defence, including CEO of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation and thereby led one of the MOD’s largest transformation projects.
Andrew has a Diploma in Executive coaching from University College London; he has coached executives in the energy, IT, banking and legal sectors.
Andrew is a keen sailor and hiker having completed some of the world’s great hikes in the Andes, the Himalayas and other less exotic locations. He is fascinated by group dynamics and the formation and function of teams. Andrew has deep knowledge of the transformation process and has written and lectured on how to secure sustainable change. He is passionate about the role of good leadership in change. As a keen theatre goer and a once aspiring theatre producer he sees many examples of great and poor leadership in many of the great classical plays as well as films.
